Beyond investments, Jordan focuses on developing lasting relationships with clients that transcend generations. He began his career in the financial industry in 2000, pursuing his strong interest in the stock market. He is responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of client investment strategies, while driving the necessary firm resources to implement overall comprehensive wealth planning. He specializes in working with small business owners, retirement plans (including cash balance plans), profit sharing plans and captive insurance accounts.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2015, Jordan worked at a boutique registered investment adviser firm in Los Angeles as a managing director. Jordan was instrumental in integrating the firm’s investment process and philosophy into a successful investment strategy, which in 2011 he launched into a subadvisory program that provided access to financial advisors at some of the world’s largest broker/dealer firms.
Earlier, Jordan worked at Solomon Smith Barney, where he became one of the founding partners of The Wilshire Group at Smith Barney/Citi Family Office in Beverly Hills. In his role, he managed more than $1.5 billion in assets and liabilities and conducted institutional syndicate and large equity block and option trading. In addition, he provided traditional family office services for his clients, such as cash flow analysis, personal balance sheets, net worth statements and consolidated investment statements. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.
Staying involved in the community is important to Jordan. He has served on the board of advisors for the Early Childhood Parenting Center and on the steering committee for the Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular. He also coaches his son’s little league baseball team.
Born and raised in San Diego, Jordan now lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife, Samantha, and their two amazing children, Jackson and Madison.
